AUSTRALIA POST HEADQUARTERS

The headquarters of Australia Post has been in need of upgrading in response to the changing nature and needs of the postal service.

CLOUSTON was engaged by Australia Post to work with a range of consultants on the refurbishment of the large commercial headquarter building in Strawberry Hills close to Sydney’s CBD. The client was seeking to improve building occupancy and its street front address while also achieving a NABERS rating of 4.5 stars.

The redevelopment of the building and landscapes included re configuration of the entry landscape and building access, with particular emphasis on universal access. The selection of hard landscape materials and a textured ornamental planting palette was designed in strong horizontal bands to compliment building’s bold architecture and the contemporary character of the redevelopment.
