COAL LOADER

Waverton Peninsula, NSW

The Coal loader is a significant cultural landscape on Sydney Harbour. It was built around the turn of the century to provide coal loading to overseas shipping. It has now been transformed into a vibrant community park. CLOUSTON Associates prepared the guiding masterplan in 1999 and the vision for the coal loader has been carried by North Sydney Council. Working closely with our client David Banbury, Council’s Landscape Architect, we developed the design and undertook all the construction documentation to deliver the parkland.
