JOHNSTON’S CREEK MASTER PLAN

Glebe, Forest Lodge and Annandale, NSW

CLOUSTON Associates joined the expert consultancy panel for this 2012 commission, taking on the challenge of addressing the diverse issues in this inner-city parkland network.

The proposed master plan unites the new with the old, celebrating the many qualities of the parklands and promoting them for future generations to enjoy. Balancing a complex web of elements such as heritage, hydrology, access, character, recreation and environment was central to the design and planning process. The project encouraged custodianship of users and locals via an extended community participation program that also provided critical feedback to the design team.
