“You might not notice every intervention of a Landscape Architect but you would certainly notice if they were missing”
A member of the CLOUSTON team since 2011, Matt holds two UK-based degrees – a Bachelor of Geography from the University of Leeds and a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Greenwich. He also has extensive experience in Landscape Character and Visual Impact Assessment.
For Matt, landscape architecture offers a unique opportunity to combine his love of science, nature and art. Matt’s understanding of urban quality and the interdependence of built environment disciplines is of great value to his role overseeing CLOUSTON’s infrastructure projects such as Schofields Road and the Scone Bypass.
Off-roading in the bush for a very different project, the Orange Drought Relief Pipeline, offered UK-born Matt a trip to rural NSW and his first briefing about Australian snakes, an experience he is unlikely to forget!
