The Maitland Regional Athletics Centre is a premier multi-use complex for athletics and community sport.

Building on the existing precinct, CLOUSTON Associates led the master planning and detailed design of the Paul Critchley Athletics Centre, transforming two previous fields into an all-weather, World Athletics Class 2 accredited venue. The centre features an international standard synthetic track, grandstand, and amenities – supporting both elite and community level competition across a range of track and field disciplines. It also maintains a flexible grassed infield for soccer and hockey.

Positioned near Maitland’s key cultural and civic buildings, this redevelopment is a major piece of public open space for the region.
