Concepts/Development Applications

Visualising the outcome

CLOUSTON works closely with clients to explore concept ideas, options and the intended character and function of the site, all with a view to budgetary objectives.

From here, we present our clients with an agreed colour-rendered sketch plan that forms the basis for further detailed work and can be used for Development Application submissions.

Core elements of these services include:

  • Site appraisal and analysis of conditions, assets and existing user patterns
  • Liaison with relevant authorities/consent agencies
  • Butterpaper sketch plans and concept options
  • Sketch perspectives
  • Material selection and planting palette presentation boards
  • Development Applications including statement of environmental effects
  • Presentation plans, sections and perspectives
  • Working models or presentation models
  • Initial cost plans to establish construction budgets
  • Appointment and coordination of specialist sub-consultants.
